From architecture and nature to neighborhoods and community members, Laura Lejuwaan’s show captures the essence of Fullerton life. Lejuwaan is known for her ability to capture the natural beauty in people and everyday surroundings, while conveying strong emotions with each of her images. The nostalgia and grandeur depicted through her art catches the breath of viewers as they are transported to each moment-in-time.

“I strive to find the unique feeling and personality of each subject and use that to determine the creative style I use in the photos,” explains Lejuwaan.

The show will also include the debut of Lejuwaan’s new Fullerton Postcard series. The Fullerton Postcard Collectors Set will include 15 different cards, each depicting a unique local scene. Postcards will be available for purchase at Graves Gallery during the show’s opening and throughout the month of January. 

Lejuwaan is an accomplished photographer with over 15 years of experience. She began by photographing her own children and continues to feature children as some of her favorite subjects. Her photos have appeared in such magazines as People, U.S. News and World Report, Time, Decision, and on the cover of Parade Magazine. The Oprah Winfrey Show has also utilized Lejuwaan’s work.
